Scott Coker – Hydro Plane Racing

Otorohanga Collision & Repairs Owner/Director Scott Coker is a competitive Hydroplane Racer. His competitions take place around New Zealand during the racing season which take him from Lake Karapiro to Twizel and everywhere in between. Spray & Bake & Otorohanga Collision & Repairs have been on board with sponsorship since years back with his first boat paint job completed in 2003 & our sponsorship also covers fuel costs.

Otorohanga Kiwi House – 'Adopt a critter' program

In October 2025 we got on board with the Kiwi House Adopt a Critter program and adopted not one, not two but three feathered friends for the next year. With the Kiwi House being a ‘not-for-profit’ organization, our help in adoption helps to cover costs such as food & medical care along with making the Kiwi House Park a great place for the birds, reptiles and people who visit. See below for our newly adopted super cute critters – Morepork, Kea and Kiwi – along with their adoption certificates.

Ellen Bisley & The Matron Racing Team

Otorohanga Collision & Repairs have supported Ellen Bisley & The Matron Racing team for three seasons now and have painted the body, wing and panels of the 22K car each season.

In Ellen’s words “The standard is second to none and everyone always comments on what a good finish the paint job is on the car. We are forever grateful for the support they have given the team to race at speedway and can always count on them to help with any painting or fibreglass repairs.”

Otorohanga Riding for Disabled

Riding for Disabled is one of the many organisations we sponsor.

“The core purpose of NZRDA is to provide interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs.
We aim to enable and support disabled people to achieve good lives including meaningful participation in, and contribution to, important life activities and roles in their community.”

When a horse is sponsored, the organisers can be at rest knowing the costs pertaining to upkeep of that horse is covered for the year, which includes the likes of farrier & vet costs, feed, covers and any specific gear requirements i.e. if a special saddle is needed etc.
